Bachelor’s Tia Booth pregnant, expecting first baby after engagement

Tia Booth is going to have a baby!

The “Bachelor in Paradise” alum, 30, announced on Sunday that she is pregnant with her and fiancé Taylor Mock’s first child.

“Happy soon-to-be Father’s Day to my forever,” the former reality star wrote in a touching tribute to the 30-year-old engineer.

In the since-deleted black-and-white snap, Mock kissed Booth’s forehead while she cradled her baby bump.

The expectant star went on to call her pregnancy the “most challenging season” as she is simultaneously mourning her dad, who died in February.

“I’ve never felt such overwhelming sadness and pure joy at the same time,” the Arkansas native explained. “It’s been difficult to be grateful for the good as if one of the most important people in my life is missing the celebration.

The couple got engaged in April.

“While I wish I could tell my dad all the good news in person, it brings me peace that he knows about it long before I do,” she continued. “Welcoming a new little life while mourning the loss of another proves that high emotions can exist simultaneously, and I have no doubt my dad had a hand in this.”

The “Bachelor” alum, who competed for Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s heart on season 22 of the ABC show, concluded by wishing her late parent a “happy heavenly Father’s Day.”

Although Booth later told her followers via Instagram Stories that the social media platform deleted her post, her fellow Bachelor Nation members were able to squeeze in well-wishes before the upload disappeared.

“Congrats babe!!! So happy for you!! I know your daddy is so proud of you😍❤️,” Jasmine Goode wrote, while Becca Tilley added, “AHHHH CONGRATULATIONS!!!! 😍😍😍.”

Booth’s pregnancy reveal came two months after the physical therapist got engaged to Mock at a “Bachelor” event in Georgia.

Mock, who got down on one knee onstage, subsequently wrote via Instagram that “an allergic reaction wasn’t going to keep [him] from locking down” his partner.

“Love you girl, can’t wait to do life with you,” Mock gushed after his April proposal.

The bride-to-be, for her part, wrote at the time that she had “never been more shocked or sure” in her life.

She and Mock began dating last year, becoming Instagram official in October 2021.
